The Town and the Municipality of Fromborkare locatet in the north-western part of the Province of Warmia and Mazury, within the County of Braniewo. In terms of geography, Frombork lies by the Vistula Bay, in the borderland between Highland of Elblag and the Warmian Lowland. Buildings on the Wzgórze Katedralne (Cathedral Hill) have been classified as the highest world quality heritage. This complex is comprised of a medieval cathedral, Bishop's palaces, canonic curiae, defense walls, towers and turrets.
